We all had a good amount of experience under our belts and we were all at the same point. Ready to beak out and bring what we loved to the people. There was a lack of true house in the electronic music scene here and we set out to change that. Since we started Big City House about 10 months ago house music has picked up huge momentum and gained a loyal following with many more DJs and club nights coming out of the woodwork. Where does the name “Big City House” come from? It’s a name that my fellow BCH DJ Dan Dixon came up with. It’s basically saying that we’re bringing Salt Lake City music that you’d normally only hear in big cities. It’s not really meant to be serious though.
