They don’t think I’ve been critical enough and aredemanding blood. I had been thinking it might be time to get on my high horseand give it to them. Unfortunately for the vampires I’ve beenpresented with a three way competition for electronic album of theyear so the bloodshed will have to wait. It is rare in the drum and bass world for an album to containvocals on almost every song. It is an even scarcer scenario forthese albums to succeed or even be worth listening to. Butthis project works remarkably well – possibly because Lynx isnot a typical drum and bass producer and Kemo is certainly not atypical drum and bass MC. Lynx has established himself as a leader in the minimal drum andbass movement with single releases on highly influential labelssuch as Creative Source and Soul:R the latter of which provide theplatform for this album’s release.
