“I didn’t have a choice but to lift you up. h stop rolling your eyes. In considering U2’s music it’s important to remember that there are two Bonos. There’s thesoul-searching poet-singer who is forever fascinated with love salvation and the human condition. And there’s the self-appointed soapbox-mounting global savior. But it’s becoming increasingly difficult to hear U2’s music without filtering it through yourfeelings about the other Bono. As it turns out his band is still worth hearing if you can set aside those feelings.

So the powers that be – with the rights to the legendary Capcom fighting game – took a look at the current cinematic climate and decided that rather than launching an epic-scale re-imagining of the iconic set of fighters the best angle to take on remaking the 1994 Jean-Claude Van Damme flop was to tell the “legend” of Chun Li. I’m not quite sure where that thought came from but they ran with it attaching Doom director Andrzej Bartkowiak (who also helmed Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds – giving him both video game and martial arts film cred I guess) and orderd up a script from first-time feature-length scribe Justin Marks. Needless to say the film hasn’t been particularly well-received by critics or audience (opening to a meager $4. 65 millionand currently at a 0% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes).

How has the music and overall project evolved over the years and how is that reflected on your new album “Cyber Suburban Electro Rock Circus”? Rikk: With this record we feel like we might have finally “arrived” so to speak as artists both musically and lyrically. We’ve been trying to etch out a very tangible & distinct “JoyFocus sound” over the years and we feel we’re one step closer to achieving that with this album. We also feel that even though it’s not such a popular notion anymore we’ve created a very cohesive and listenable album experience with “CSERC. ” It’s not just a collection of singles and it’s not one single with some filler around it. We feel it really is something you can listen to in its entirety and enjoy.

I would join President bama in his understanding of connecting with the people and have town meetings across the country to ignite passion about the value of arts education to our young people and our country. This initiative would raise the level of academic achievement instill confidence connect whole generations with creativity and triple the enrollment and attendance records of every elementary middle and high school in America. This would include programs in music dance drama art photography electronic music even martial arts. Civilizations are remembered for their War and Art. We need to balance the footprint we are leaving behind.
