The performance of Pakistani musicians was highly appreciated by the German audience at the festival in which besides Pakistan musicians from Brazil Romania and New Zealand were selected to perform said a message received here Thursday. The Pakistan musicians were invited to perform at the World Electronic music festival 2008 on initiative of Ambassador of Pakistan to Germany Shahid Kamal. Pakistani musicians played music representing Pakistani culture and got loud applause after the performance of each piece of music which included classical as well as a mix of Western and Eastern music. They also visited the House of the Parliament and met Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The event provided a good opportunity for projecting country’s soft image among the Germans.
