In response to their work Miro Dance Theatre members Jil Stifel and Paul Struck will perform a duet while choreographer Zornitsa Styoyanova will offer a new solo work. Having worked extensively in electronic music Mikronesia employs acoustic instruments to emulate the textures of electronics in the piece inspired by the work of Gyorgy Ligeti.

Should Eurovision lyrics be restricted to the language of the entrants? The entry by Sebastien Tellier entitled Divine combines both English and French lyrics with electro music. The singer-composer said that French lyrics did not work as well with the music. The decision has caused an outcry in France provoking one MP to demand an explanation from the culture minister. Broadcasting laws in France restrict the amount of airtime given to non-French music but songs with English lyrics have recently gained more exposure through the internet. Will the French entry lose its character by being in English? Is the Eurovision Song Contest a good vehicle for expressing national identities? Is the MP right to intervene?—————-.
