Thiel SmartSub SS1 SS2 SS3 and SS4 Subwoofers Announced
eCoustics.com – eCoustics.com (press release) – Dec 25, 2007
The subwoofers and Integrator both incorporate aspects of THIEL’s patent-pending SmartSub technology: The SmartSub Integrator can be adjusted to automatically match any of the four subwoofers to your main speakers regardless of brand or type for the most accurate and seamless sonic integration. Each of the four subwoofers can be easily adjusted to accurately eliminate room interaction problems for any placement without microphones or complicated measurements. Unique electronic circuitry in the SS2 SS3 and SS4 corrects for compression distortion due to heating of the drivers' voice coils for more dynamic and effortless reproduction. Unusually large magnet structures and special high excursion suspensions allow the subwoofers to move a very large amount of air for effortless realistic reproduction of the most demanding sources. The drivers are powered by an internal 1000 watt high efficiency switching mode amplifier (500 watts for the SS1) with thermal overload protection. The $8900 SS4 employs two long-throw 15" woofers in a 51" H x 19" W x 26… Individual THIEL model versions of the two-channel PX02 ($350) and the five-channel PX05 ($500) are each specifically designed to create a seamless match with its main THIEL speaker model's normal bass roll-off extending the entire system's low frequency response to below 20 Hz. The units receive speaker level inputs and derive a line level subwoofer signal that can be used while the subwoofer simultaneously receives an LFE signal. This configuration is often a good approach for music and video systems when the main speakers play sufficiently loud but do not have extended deep bass response. Passive Subwoofer Crossover cabinets are 2" H 7" W and 6. CELEBRATING 30 YEARS F HIGH PERFRMANCE IN 2007 THIEL Audio Products Company is a privately-held engineering-driven organization that performs research design and manufacturing of loudspeakers for the highest quality home music and video sound reproduction. ur products incorporate a variety of technological advancements in driver design acoustical construction techniques and crossover design.
Touch cube points to future toys

It’s how you learn and communicate. The accelerometers are essentially chips which can sense the direction of gravity; once you know that you can work out which way is up and down. “It took about a month to build; I thought it would be nice to do a cube computer after I had seen an electronic Rubik’s cube which was very poor… But the combination of touch light and three dimensions opens up a range of possibilities – from music games to puzzles and even a lifestyle device. Mr Fentem said he was inspired to build the cube because he was dismayed by the quality of many of today’s electronic toys. “This was originally an artistic intervention into the gadget market. If you really want to make something unusual you really have to understand the physics of how things work. “Because most people don’t know much about engineering the ideas tend to be poor.

10 Drexel live at the Nite wl singing Don’t Mess With prah – This video is low quality and bad sound for the most part. However I love it because of the novelty of the song and the band Drexel. Fans who follow this electro-lounge-rock act know the insanity of their live show. This video shows a bit of that. 9 Luxury Pushers singing Three-Minute Manifesto – I am not sure where this video was filmed but I like how raw the band comes off in it. The video shows the band performing live with their black hair and clothes yelling as loud as frontman Jamy Holliday. 8 HQAX live at regon Express covering Weezer’s El Scorcho – The band does a great cover of Weezer’s El Scorcho in this video… The angle of the camera is a bit crooked and is blocked by fans in the front. But most of the fans are singing along with the upbeat rockers and it adds energy to the scene. 7 The Story Changes Kill the Radio music video – This is an old Story Changes clip. It even includes former Changes bass player Gee Gee rockin’ out in a room with the rest of the band. The video shows a young girl who strikes back against those who alienate her. She even kills her radio.

5 stars “BEST EARBUDS AVAILABLE” by. These JBL earbud headphones are the best I’ve been able to find under $300. I purchased and returned 2 different Shures the V-Moda Bose Sennheiser and Zen earbuds – they just don’t compare. The fullness of the JBL earbuds – bass you can feel balanced midrange and clean highs – smokes the others. The JBLs come with 3 sizes of earpieces plus earpieces for external use plus a headpiece – you can use them as earbuds as headsets you can even work out with them… The fullness of the JBL earbuds – bass you can feel balanced midrange and clean highs – smokes the others. The JBLs come with 3 sizes of earpieces plus earpieces for external use plus a headpiece – you can use them as earbuds as headsets you can even work out with them. The JBLs give me clear stunning music and they block out sounds around me. I sometimes leave them in with the music off just to get some quiet time. The cord sound is annoying though – I do hate that and wish that JBL would consider a different material or cover. However the cords aren’t that cheap plastic wiring that most earbuds favor and don’t tangle easily. The JBLs even come with a nice case that conveniently holds my Zen Vision M.
