"I listen differently more attentively to detail in a recording. Hopefully it will make a better recording because I’ve put that on my plate" he said. Richards is already a producer making his own electronic music and wants to make recordings with other artists. "As a producer starting off you think everything you make is hot. Friends tell you what you like to hear" he says. Most importantly he’s learned how to copyright his music. Now he’s registering his beats with the Society of Composers Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SCAN) for free.
