Since December alone Mr. Gibson has produced nine new releases for Adjunct rac Mo’s Ferry and Lessizmore that firmly establish this LA producer as one of most prolific forces in minimal dance music production. Mikael Stavostrand (Mitek Sunset Diskos Berlin) Live PABorn in Stockholm and now based in Berlin Mikael Stavostrand isconsidered key feature of the Swedish electronic music scene for his unique interpretations of minimal club techno. Stavostrand has played Mutek in Canada plus Mexico Japan and throughout Europe. His collaborations have included the Luus project together with Johan Fotmeijer the Bulgur Brothers Johan Skugge and Andreas Tilliander. More recently with Kenneth James Gibson aka [a]pendics.

based on the Kompakt record store located in Cologne and spawned a distribution company and gave a long overdue trademark and brand to the meanwhile internationally known Cologne minimal sound. Still at the forefront of cutting edge electronic music we have a showcase of some of the best. Heading up the bill is an extremely rare UK DJ performance from and act synonymous with Kompakt the Wighnomy Brothers. Renowned for their alcohol fuelled craziness behind the decks this duo add much needed flair personality and party ethic to the German sound. Alongside this duo will be DJ Koze. A true jack of all trades – DJ Koze AKA Adolf Noise is a German hip hop DJ champion part of the eccentric International Pony (Skint) group as well as putting out a whole plethora of glitchy & minimal yet quirky singles and remixes on Kompakt.

You can’t leave a 14-year-old boy alone four nights a week. "Brown feels a sense of homecoming and relief returning to radio; she felt burnt out from doing TV. "It’s a contemporary music show with post-rock ambient electronic and folktronic (electronic and folk)" she explains. "We also do classical music – it’s all over the map but with a late-night feel. "There was nothing on the radio like this; everyone has an iPod of their own stuff. I couldn’t find a radio station I wanted to listen to. "I program it with producer Andy Sheppard the ex-host of After Hours on CBC Radio.
